My sisters and I would like to thank Abbie, Lucy and the team for an excellent and personal service, providing us with guidance, compassion and support through such a difficult time. Nothing was too much trouble – even supplying umbrellas and trying to shield us from the rain on the day of the funeral. Highly recommended.

I am writing to express our family’s profound gratitude for the exceptional care and professionalism you provided during my Mother’s funeral arrangements. Your compassionate guidance and support were invaluable during such a difficult time for us. Every detail was handled with utmost sensitivity and respect, ensuring a dignified farewell for my Mother. I would like to thank you for your excellent professionalism and thought during this time of my dad passing away.

Thursday was a difficult day for the family and the weather didn’t help and made it difficult for us all.

During this period the CC team carried on with the absolute professionalism and made us all feel as ease

Its difficult to single out people in the CC team but I would like to say a big thank you to Abi and Lucy who supported the family and always couldn’t do enough to support us. They made it personal and at times like this it is just what the family needed to deal with details that they would never have expected to deal with.

So glad I picked Critoph and Crowe for my wife’s funeral arrangements. From the first visit to the final day everything was organised perfectly. Many thanks to Abi and Lucy for their professional and caring help in arranging everything. Also the excellent “Celebration of my wife’s life” that Chloe Middleton produced from her visit to us and also her caring professionalism conducting the order of service at the crematorium. The whole team are highly recommended.

Can highly recommend Critoph and Crowe. From the first phone call to laying my aunt’s ashes to rest they have shown so much respect and compassion any grieving family could want. Lucy was so understanding in a difficult situation we faced. Her very caring nature was a credit to the company. Graham was also very helpful and supportive. Thank you everyone involved.

I lost my beautiful mother on the 4th Sept and since she was picked up from her nursing home Lucy and her staff have been absaloutly amazing. The day upon seeing my mum in the Chapel of rest Lucy was so patient with me first seeing her and explained every detail before I finally saw her. Im so greatful for you’re patience even if I was a pain at times. Thank you so so much Lucy, im sure my mum would be eternally greatful for all you’re hard work and help too xx

I can’t thank Critoph and Crowe enough for how they helped us through a difficult time.
The gentlemen that came to the house treated mum with such dignity I felt from the start that mum was in good hands. Lucy was amazing and genuinely cares for all of the family and I know she looked after mum while in her care. Abbie was so helpful in sorting out the details and on the day of the cremation made everything so much easier.
I would recommend to anyone and would look no further in the future. Heartfelt thank you to everyone.

A huge thank you to team Lucy. Going through such a sad time losing my father,Lucy was there making sure everything went smoothly. What an absolute first class service Critoph and Crowe provided. Lucy and the team exceeded our expectations. As a family, Critoph have always been our choice of undertaker, and have always been very happy with the service they provided. However, they have advanced to another level, with a first class team. As we were organising a funeral for a young man, it was extremely emotional and difficult. Lucy and the team took the stress from us. On the day of the funeral the undertakers were organised and professional and took great care of a family member that was finding it difficult. I cannot speak highly enough of the team. So highly recommended.

I cannot thank Lucy and her team enough. From start to finish with Lucy’s professional and comforting manner I couldn’t have asked for anything more. The gentleman on the day of the funeral were just as amazing. They made the whole process simpler and more comforting knowing mum was being well taken care of.

Having lost my mum at only 68, I was worried about having to deal with all the arrangements, but Lucy and the team were so helpful and very caring at such a difficult time. Whether it be the initial phone calls, or meeting in person, Lucy spoke in such a way that made me feel at ease and peace to make decisions. Everything from the order of service, to the funeral itself was perfect and I can’t thank them enough for everything during the hardest time of my life. We recently used Critoph & crowe’s services for my mums funeral and they were just fantastic. From start to finish the service and care for us and my mum was so personal. They went above and beyond to make us feel so comfortable and at ease. Lucy was particularly incredible and helped me personally through things on a lot of occasions! Would highly recommend!

Our family have been using Critoph and Crowe for three generations. In the last two years I have lost both my parents but Jonathan, Lucy and the whole team were there when I needed them. Everyone was wonderful from the first sad phone call, right up until a memorial stone was placed in the churchyard. I could rely on their support and professionalism at every stage. There are so many words I could use to describe these lovely people – compassionate, empathetic, respectful and caring. Lucy and Abi took care of so many little details. Nothing was too much trouble. The words thank you are not enough.

At one if the most difficult times in my life and when I needed help most you were there to support help and guide me through the start of a very difficult journey. I was lost and you all helped put me back on the right path to put the celebration of life ceremony for my Dad on track. You all showed empathy and compassion in bucket loads at the same time extreme professionalism. Nothing was rushed, there was no pushing to get to see the next person. It was all very personal and comforting.

From the very start Lucy was an absolute star.. she supported me every step of the way. Never pushed only guided me and always had my back 💯…
She was kind and she genuinely loves doing what she does and it really does show.

When you lose a loved one who you have shared your life with for over thirty years, you don`t only lose a wife or partner but your best friend. I was devastated when Lynn passed away although a blessing in some respects because she had suffered for years with her battle against cancer.
Critoph and Crowe helped me prepare for Lynn’s funeral, they did all the arrangements from, collecting Lynn from the Hospice, keeping her safe, choosing a coffin, flowers, liaising with the church, crematorium, and the casket for Lynn’s ashes.
They were brilliant and in a short time of our first meeting they made me feel at ease and provided comfort.

I am writing to express my sincere gratitude for the exceptional support and care I received from Lucy and the entire team at Critoph & Crowe during one of the most difficult times of my life. This was my first time planning a funeral, and I was completely overwhelmed by the process. My late godfather had appointed me to handle the arrangements, and I truly wanted to do him proud.

From the very beginning, Lucy went above and beyond to guide me through every step of the process. Her patience, understanding, and reassurance made such a difference. Not only was she incredibly professional, but she was also compassionate and supportive, never once making me feel like I was asking too much. I cannot imagine anyone else caring for him with such attentiveness and kindness.

As someone who is very sensitive, there were moments when I found it difficult to cope, and I found myself breaking down on several occasions. However, Lucy always knew exactly what to say to comfort me. The compassion and empathy she displayed were truly remarkable and meant the world to me during such a heartbreaking time.

The funeral itself was more than I could have hoped for. I know my dear godfather would have been deeply moved by the way his life was celebrated. With Lucy’s help, we were able to incorporate significant aspects of his life, including his RAF service, his prison service, and a guard of honour. The turnout was a testament to how special he was, and it was comforting to know he was surrounded by so many who cared for him.

Lucy and her team also arranged the beautiful flowers from the immediate family, which were absolutely stunning. Additionally, Lucy ensured my godfather’s ashes were mixed with those of his late wife and worked diligently to ensure they were returned to us in time for Christmas. This personal touch provided such a sense of closure and peace for our family.

Words cannot fully express my appreciation for everything you did. Your dedication and compassion are truly beyond compare. I will be in touch soon to discuss arrangements for the final resting place, when our family decides where we would like to honour his memory and allow others to pay their respects.

During one of the most challenging times for our family, Lucy and her team at Critoph & Crowe provided an exceptional service that truly made a difference. Their professionalism was evident from the very beginning, ensuring that every detail was handled with the utmost care and precision.

What stood out the most was their compassionate and kind approach. They were not just service providers but became a source of comfort and support. Their caring nature helped us navigate through our grief, making the entire process more bearable.

The level of respect on the day of the service was very evident, the drivers and bearers were very respectful and professional, they helped us through the difficult day and were a great comfort. Chloe delivered a lovely service and was very supportive before and during the service which we really appreciated.

Efficiency was another hallmark of their service. They managed everything seamlessly, allowing us to focus on our family and our memories. Their ability to be both efficient and empathetic was remarkable.

Overall, their dedication and support made a difficult time much more manageable. We are deeply grateful for their help and would highly recommend their services to anyone.

I have nothing but praise for all at Critoph and Crowe for helping us to arrange my dad’s funeral. From the initial telephone call I was put at ease to ensure I was aware that they would support us throughout the whole process. The planning of the funeral with Lucy was as a positive experience as any, she was welcoming and made us feel relaxed and not rushed, supporting us through each step. When it came to visiting my loved one, Lucy helped me with the process and came in with me to ensure I was ok, she stayed with me the whole time. For the Funeral itself we were looked after on the day by Patrick who was lovely, kind and again explained everything we needed to know. The funeral was as good as we could have envisaged, and the Celebrant, Chloe Middleton took on everything we shared with her when planning this, she took attention to detail and ensured nothing was missed, she brought comedy, love and emotion throughout the service which we were grateful for. We were contacted prior to the funeral and the day after to check how we were and again, put us at ease which really did mean a great deal to us. Superb service when i lost my darling dad from the beginning, right through to the end of a very difficult journey. Luckily for me I have not arranged a funeral before, Lucy was always there answering our questions and concerns with kindness and compassion words can’t say how grateful I am. Lucy and Jonathan looked after my dear dad with dignity and respect at all times. All the staff were so kind and caring. From collecting dad from his home , driving is to crematorium to supporting my family carrying his coffin. First class service that won’t be forgotten.
